Werner graduated from the faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Ghent University in 2017. After graduation, he was determined to further specialize in Equine orthopedics and moved to the United Kingdom. He followed an externship in Newmarket at the Rossdales Equine Hospital. Werner developed his practical skills as an ambulatory vet at Town&Country Veterinary Centre where he worked for two years. Meanwhile, he followed an RCVS specialisation course in Equine orthopedics at Liverpool University. In 2019 Werner moved to the Oakham Veterinary Hospital were he worked as an Equine Orthopedist for another two years before he came back to Belgium to join ECG.
Werner is a very dynamic and skilled orthopedist who will work closely together with the other orthopedists within ECG to offer our clients the best possible medical care.
