Eduardo Felix graduated at the University of UTAD in Portugal in 2003 with only one purpose: becoming an international sports veterinarian. To achieve his life goal, after graduation, he did two internships. One of which he performed at our partner hospital 'Bosdreef’ in Belgium, an internationally renowned equine hospital which is believed to be one of the best worldwide. After his internships, he additionally performed several externships with some highly reputed Equine orthopedic specialist such as Sue Dyson to learn the tips and tricks of our profession. He also followed the ISELP courses together with orthopedist friends Frederik Bruyninx and Filip Vandenberghe.
Eduardo made a truly exceptional career. Already in 2006 he became the stable veterinarian at Pessoa Stables in Belgium. Since that moment his practise developed in a way that only a few veterinarians in the world can experience. He became the official team veterinarian for several nations. He participated at 3 Olympic Games, 3 European Championships, 2 WEG and 1 Pan American Games.
At this moment Eduardo is the official team Veterinarian for the Canadian Jumping Team.
Eduardo has special interest in regenerative medicine and his worldwide reputation brings him all over the globe to take care of the best sport horses in the equestrian world.
