The Equine Care Group (ECG) has become a finalist for 'Scale-up van het jaar 2022'. An award presented by the Flemish government in cooperation with EY, De Tijd and BNP Parisbas-Fortis. With ECG, we were selected and awarded to be one of the 3 fastest growing ambitious young companies in Flanders where innovation is key.
Job creation and international expansion are also important selection criteria for this prestigious award. It is the first time in history that a veterinary company has been nominated for such an Award and we as Equine Care Group are very proud of this. Our CEO Tom Mariën received the Award 'finalist Scale-up van het jaar 2022' on December 6, 2022 in Brussels. Among the invitees were many prominent people present and Tom received congratulations from the Minister of Economy, Work, Innovation & Agriculture Mr. Jo Brouns, Minister of the Home Affairs Mrs. Annelies Verlinden and from Mayor (Lummen) Mr. Luc Wouters.
As ECG we were also honored with the presence of the Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Ghent, Prof. Ann Martens and Prof. Frederik Pille and Prof. Sarne De Vliegher
