As Business Controller, you will act as a key business analytics partner to both the Finance team and the operational leaders across our activities. Reporting to the Business Control Manager, you will provide financial insights bridging the gap between numbers and business, analyze performance, and contribute to strategic and operational decision-making.

This role combines financial expertise and solid analytical skills with a hands-on business mindset — supporting the group’s growth and helping our teams make informed, data-driven decisions.

Qui es-tu?

Your responsibilities:

• Serve as a business partner to operational and management teams, providing analytical insights to support decision-making.
• Perform KPI analysis and monitor performance against budgets, forecasts, and targets.
• Conduct gross margin and profitability analyses across divisions, regions, and service lines.
• Lead the preparation of monthly business reviews and performance reports.
• Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring business alignment and accuracy.
• Participate in ad hoc business projects and provide analytical support for strategic initiatives.
• Identify and monitor key business drivers, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with Accounting and Financial Controlling teams to ensure data integrity and consistency.
• Actively contribute to our global ERP project (setup of new reports, KPIs definition/computation, etc.)
• Continuously seek ways to improve financial reporting, analytical tools, and business processes.

Your profile:

• Master’s degree in economics, finance, mathematics or engineering
• Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant experience, ideally in consulting, business control, or financial analysis.
• Very dynamic, hard worker & fast learner, self-motivated
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills, diving into details while maintaining a helicopter view.
• Curious, proactive and critical.
• Eager to understand the operational side of the business.
• Strong nterpersonal skills with ability to work with several different profiles
• Fluent in Dutch, French & English. German or Spanish or Italian is an asset
• A passion for horses is an asset
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP and BI tools (e.g. Power BI, SAP, NetSuite, or similar).
