À propos du rôle

As Commercial Operations Manager, you are the central link within Roose. You oversee daily operations, act as the point of contact between Roose and the wider ECG Group, and work closely with the Logistics Manager to ensure customers can always rely on excellent service. You manage the Administrative Assistant/Warehouse Operator and step in as back-up for the Logistics Manager and Warehouse Admin when needed. In short: a broad and responsible role in a dynamic SME that is continuously evolving.

What you will do

• Be responsible for the purchasing of goods and sales activities.
• Financial follow-up and reporting: you monitor payments, invoices and payroll administration, prepare monthly stock valuations and reporting for ECG, and follow up on KPIs with concrete actions when budgets come under pressure.
• Quality management (BIO & GMP): you coordinate the quality systems, from documentation to audit preparation, in close collaboration with the Logistics Manager and the Administrative Assistant.
• Technical and facilities management: you follow up on maintenance, inspections, insurance and replacement of the vehicle fleet and company equipment, and manage technical and facilities-related incidents from start to finish.
• Process optimisation: you identify opportunities to improve processes, costs and systems based on operational data, and translate them into concrete, measurable improvement actions

Qui es-tu?

You recognise yourself in the following profile:

• You have at least 5 years of experience in an operational or coordinating management role, preferably within an SME environment.
• A bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, logistics or agribusiness is an asset, but strong practical experience is at least equally valuable.
• You are highly organised, think analytically and communicate clearly.
• Discretion and integrity come naturally to you, as you will have access to financial, payroll and strategic information.
• You are fluent in Dutch, French and English.
• Experience with quality systems (BIO, GMP) and financial reporting is a strong plus, as is an affinity with the agricultural sector.
• You are confident using MS Office, particularly Excel at an advanced level, and ERP/TMS systems such as MEVO do not intimidate you.
